Bishop Charles L. Wright has been given the assignment of "restoring fellowship" this assignment was first expressed in the prayer of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Saint John 17:21
"That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me."
Bishop Wright heard this twice from his father in the Lord, the late Presiding Bishop of the United Churches of God in Christ, Dr. Marshall Carter when he said: "find out what God is doing and do it with Him." After many years of seeking the Lord, and many obstacles, many afflictions, many appointments, and many disappointments Bishop Wright heard from the Lord again saying: "you must complete your assignment." Bishop Wright was also reminded of the first word that the Lord spoke to him through his word.
Matthew 6:33
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
Bishop Wright's first love is the Word of God.
The vision, commission, and the assignment became clear as he began to see so much separation in the: "Body of Christ" people were doing what was right in their eyes and what was wrong in God's eyes. Bishop remembered the words of Jesus.
John 10:16 "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."
Bishop Wright began to study more.
II Timothy 2:15: Then he got approved for the assignment.
Remember the most important words in this verse is:
"Unto to God" for the up-building of God's Kingdom!
